The Spanish pharmaceutical industry has become key to the economic, social and health reactivation of the country. Companies in the sector are considered an element of prestige and there is a need to improve their competitiveness, both nationally and internationally.
Our colleague María López, Head of Public Funds projects at Euro-Funding, detailed in different media, all the relevant aspects of the Profarma Plan call for proposals. This plan is made up of a package of aid that seeks to promote the competitiveness of companies in the sector and relaunch their activity, so essential in these last months of the pandemic.
María points out that this programme will generate, in addition to a direct economic impact due to the reduction of the fees that companies based in Spain must pay to the National Health System, a great prestige derived from the classification and qualification achieved in the programme that will encourage multinationals to invest more in their Spanish subsidiaries in order to improve their qualification. In the following article, we list the objectives of pharmaceutical companies depending on the type of company that will benefit from the grants according to the information provided by the Government.
At Euro-Funding, we develop financing maps for each project by analysing the different public calls for subsidies and loans at regional, state and European level. Our technical team analyses the investment plans to develop a tailor-made financing scenario.
